Emmis communications is a global company that owns radio, television, and magazines across
the United States as well as radio stations abroad in Hungary and Argentina. It is the 7th
largest radio group in the U.S..
In the Indianapolis market, Emmis Communications owns 4 radio stations, runs a statewide
Agricultural radio network, and publishes Indianapolis Monthly Magazine.
I also create and redesign current graphics and layouts for all the stations.
Custom web applications (using the venerable Ruby on Rails) to rapidly implement special needs.
My position also includes writing news for WIBC.com, creating and maintaining websites and
content management systems (again, Ruby on Rails) for Network Indiana &
Indiana Sports Talk, creating Flash animations
and applications, and occasionally photographing station events for all sites.

The Purdue University School of Science provides education and research in scientific fields from Chemistry and Physics
to Computers and Earth & Atmospheric Sciences.
I assist my supervisor in providing both server and end-user support
for all of the Academic Advisors, the Deans of the school, and the Business Offices. The servers
that we oversee provide e-mail, web services, file sharing, and printing services to the entire administration department.
My position includes: troubleshooting end-user problems, maintaining and servicing end-user computers,
administering a FreeBSD server, teaching people how to use their computers, and creation of web pages.
I also developed a web application to help with the School of Science's implementation of the University-wide
"Corporate Activity Report". This report tracked the School of Science's activities with exterior corporate entities.
Datashare has been providing corporate network installation, integration, and support services for 12 years.
I performed various jobs from assisting engineers in the field with end-user and network support to internal accounting database programming.
I expanded my knowledge of network and computer systems through working with trained MCSE's,MCNE's,CNE's, as well as various other
qualified professionals during summers between schooling in both high school and college.
I was the first intern that they had when I started in 1997. My performance sparked an internship program during
the summers.
Eagle Creek is a Fixed Based Operation at the Eagle Creek Airport (EYE) in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Eagle Creek is
the largest maintenance and performance upgrade center for the popular
Twin Commander twin turbine aircraft.
I was in charge of the fueling and moving of private aircraft that fly into and are housed at the airport. I was
also in charge of fuel truck and customer service vehicle maintenance.
I quickly learned how to provide quality service to all individuals who utilized our facilities and services.
This involved dealing with customers and all that entails. Because of the size of the Fixed Base, I was in charge of
janitorial work, cash register duties, and fueling aircraft through all kinds of weather, 364 days a year (except Christmas Day).
